or...I might keep the flag...Chimney Rock Park near Lake Lure, NC has a rock formation that inspired the title name of the park...the rock sticks out of the mountain side and carries a huge American Flag and has an incredible view of the valley below...however no Bald Eagles exist here so I feel I am misrepresenting something so that is why the flag was put in as it flies high above Chimney Rock State Park and it is beautiful...so...I will create a Chimney Rock Park mosaic in the future utilizing a native species...one of which is the Peregrine Falcon...then the Flag makes sense as well...I have several small agates in the cliff side so, I hope to capture their color and patterns when the light emits thru....Most everything here is adhered..It is a process...a rewarding one....my favorite part of this art is the cleaning of the grout and watching the light come through the colors...it changes...something pretty cool happens when you see what you created...
