Commission Week
These two windows were requests. The Cowboy Chico Cherry has been keeping me busy throughout 2011 with his old west themed windows. Those 9 pane windows are quite the task. I messed up on The Wild Bunch, making it too dark green causing it to get lost and is very muted. He says it is okay but I feel like I want to kick the pane out and have a new piece of glass inserted and molded and do a much better and more vivid Wild Bunch. The 6 pane Saloon window came out pleasing. I will deliver it to him on Monday.
A customer requested three hummingbirds but I asked if two would be okay as the space would have been too crowded with movement. I like this window a lot. I did a brown tile border with green jeweled corners and filled in tones of blue, greens, yellows, golds, browns...the white flowers came out cool. The patterns in some of the glass created extra movement and flow.

Tree Of Life
I am looking at this window a week later and feel it emits an enchanting wonder. The project was rewarding, an awesome canvas. Thank you April and John. However, I'm still distraught that you never called me and never had me come over to see it. No Party. Never bought anything else from me. No gratuity. No other commissions. Nothing. Then, to call me and ask me my trade secrets was the most disturbing. Not sure what to think about it all. You enjoy. My autobio will be called The Rape Of Victor Nunnally

Owl Patio Side Table Set.
I wanted to make a pair of mosaic patio side tables so I chose Owls as the subject with shades of greens, blues and grays. The collection is coming together. I am thinking of doing a pineapple table. It would be the second one so I know it will come out cool like the first table. Also in the works is this five foot Cathedral Ceiling Window. The Tree Of Life is to be laid. This is another vertical project and very tricky with building the Tree. It is fun watching the tree grow, creating branches and off shoots in different shades of browns. Then the laying of the leaves in greens and golds...an owl...and a crescent moon...bordered in a smokey blue sky...a golden field...
