White Flowers

It looks like winter but it has been feeling like spring for the most of December.

I love the use of yellow, whites, and greens.  The Wild Flower Series: 28 x 19"

A Journeyman

I attended a Dickens Street Fair in Fayetteville, N.C. and saw a man on a penny farthing.  I always wanted to do a mosaic with the high wheel subject.  This piece is a step away from my multiple colored mosaics.  I am very pleased, a venture I have been wanting to achieve and become aware.

A Pineapple

This is a requested piece.  George, I hope this is what you wanted. I like it immensely.

Becca created this fairy halo in the grass today.  I found it to be a work of art.

This piece is full of life.  The yellow diamonds came out pretty cool.  The white flowers give a nice balance and the blue back ground is great contrast.

I might have to make another one of these.  I like this design.

Light

"My Father says there is only one perfect view and that is the sky above our heads." A Room With A View, E.M. Forster

Charlotte's Dragonfly

Mosaic art can emit so much movement with ever changing light.  The Flag came out very cool.  A beloved customer requested a red bodied dragon fly plate with purples and amber beads.  I am pleased with this interpretation. I need to buy an art studio.

Stained Glass Flag by Victor Nunnally

We are at a Turning Point. Sometimes I feel we are being lead into a Theocracy.

December 1, 2011

I can not believe that Christmas is upon us.  Where did Thanksgiving go?  Soon, it will be 2012.  I am excited to see if there is anything to the Mayan Calender speculation of great change.  It has something to do with the sun.  The sun is a clock.
