The days are beginning to get muggy here in Western North Carolina as summer approaches and the fruits of the season are tasting great this year. The southern peach is mouth watering when it is ripe. I made an awesome peach pie the other evening adding apples and blueberries and using puff pastry for the crust serving it hot with vanilla bean ice cream...goodness...I had to have two helpings!
