The Portal

A portal appeared at Needful Things Antiques with this odd little rabbit coming out...This 36 x 66" stained glass shower door has gone through the ringer over the past two years but it gets more beautiful with every crack...a great example of the durability of mosaic art and how age seems to improve the design...

The Biltmore Estate's Festival of Flowers is happening right now. Can there possibly be a better place to experience the changing of seasons? An annual pass is a must! They send you guest passes when you purchase a year pass photo card. The Estate is Gothic with surrounding formal gardens and pastures...along with a supberb winery and a new shopping village. The Biltmore Inn is on the property and compliments the Estate.

Nunnally Mosaics bursting in color...

Needful Things Antiques does a Flea Market on the Second Saturday of every month. The weather was perfect! So setting up my mosaics outside was a must...If you are interested in becoming a vendor please contact Mike Wynne at 828-696-8745

Nectar seeker by Victor Nunnally

Spring has been just about perfect with temps in the 60's and 70's here in Western North Carolina although the pollen has been heavy. It is an awesome feeling to watch the season bring to life all the trees and critters especially after this brutal winter. If nature is being consistent I bet we will see one more snow fall between now and May 30th. This is an 8 x 8" stained glass mosaic plate. Hummingbirds make great subjects for this art form...

My artworks tend to lean toward the seasons when the change is felt...and change is good. Here is a Cardinal window I started yesterday. North Carolina's State Bird. Very popular south eastern bird. Also, a new patio side table production. I am hoping to sell them as a Pair...and check out these awesome coasters with spoon rests...perfect for an outdoor event.
