Working on Seasonal Window Mosaic-Victor Nunnally

I get excited when I think how this will light up at night. I wanted to create a seasonal window mosaic that was warm and soothing to the senses. It is my aim to please the senses and remind the whole how awesome the world is.

It's beautiful!!!! My husband and I purchased a piece of your work (5 1/2 ft-long of Blue Ridge Mountains) in Black Mountain, NC, end of August. We absolutely love it, especiallly since our hearts have always been in those mountains or the Shennadoah Valley (we are originally from Richmond, VA). Could you give us some background on that piece of art, i.e. do jewels and geods (sp?) have any particular significance, what exactly inspired you to do that particular piece, etc. To me, the jewels and glass below the "blue ridge" of glass give off the colors of the trees and the beauty of the Valley; and, you might like to know, when we look in the "mirror" pieces, we see ourselves in the midst of where our hearts have always been--we would love to have settled in the Valley or mountains, but there were no jobs for chemists there; if there had been, the mountains and Valley would NOT be what they are today! Keep on doing what you're doing--you are a true artist! Warmly,

Fooling around in Photoshop. I am working on a new window mosaic called the Light House. I used an agate glass for the light...I love the crooked lighthouse.

Victor Nunnally in a mOsaic

Hello, My name is Victor Nunnally and I am trapped in a mosaic called Life. So many choices, so many obstacles, so many colors and shapes...it can only mean that there are no absolutes...enjoy your mosaic of life...for each one is beautiful in its own way.

God's Iris

This is part of the God's Iris series

. When lit up at night this table top is exquisite. I took this at the Pritchard Park Arts Show. It was not too good of an experience as one woman threw up behind a tree where I was sitting and a Band was playing some repetitious percussion while it's members chanted.

Door Mosaic lit up at night...

I wanted to do a full length door

for a long time and a friend let me create this for his cottage. It came out more beautiful than I could have imagined.

So much life and color in these mosaics. Both pieces have been sold.

Pritchard Park Arts

The Pritchard Park, Down Asheville was a success. The event is brought to you by The Arts2People nonprofit organization helping artists get discovered. I'll miss my window but started working on a pair for next week.

Here is a mosaic window seen from the inside of a bathroom. The once boring window now adds color and life to the room with natural light. Then at night the window glows on the outside from the interior evening light.

I began this art of glowing mosaics in the Caribbean. Why? I don't know but I love it! I look forward to the day when I create a masterpiece of stained glass and light. I feel as though I have enlightened many to this art. that would be a good thing. Enlightenment is key to moving forward. The human race needs to become enlightened. 2012 perhaps. There is something in the paradigm demanding for change. Uh...does anyone have $32 million? I need it to save something very precious.
